These images are for an adoption porfolio. The Woodman's are amazing people with so much love to give, I hope they are blessed with another child soon. Their little man was not really happy to have his pictures taken but I love his personality...what spunk!

I have to admit...I am very pleased with this session. What a beautiful,and very stylish bride! We had some great locations, and she just had a natural way of "working it" in front of the camera. Lyndee my awesome assistant help me and we used some of the off camera lighting I have been learning more about and I love the results. Michelle's sister Amber is getting a free family portrait session for the referral. I know a lot of people get engaged around the Holidays so if you know anyone who is getting married and looking for a photographer send them my way...

Being around these four kids makes me want to have another one. However I have 2 girls and one boy and I know that if I have another baby it will be another "princess". I've heard people say "girls are easier to raise vs. rowdy boys," but I beg to differ...GIRLS are just so stinkin' emotional and dramatic!

I was working solo (no assistant) on this shoot and I used a speedlight off camera with an large umbrella for a fill light, since there was so much contrast between the shadow and highlight. It was fun except for when the wind blew it over!

Does it seem like there are a lot more TWINS other multiple births these days? This past year I have photographed over 10 set's of twins and one set of triplets. This family is one of those families that have been blessed with a set of very cute twin boys. I have three children and for me it is quite a handful. In late July and August I had the opportunity to babysit my 2 year old and 4 month old nephew for 6 weeks. Thank Heavens my older 2 kids were in school during that time, but my own 2 year old was at home with us. So I had THREE kids that were 2 & under... my hat goes off to you ladies who have any children that close in age. It was fun, but man I do not think I have ever been more tired!

Congratulations to this very fun couple. Chris & Emily will be married soon and will start their new life together with their 9 children. We had fun shooting their engagement photos, and then a week later more fun with some family photos. Emily is one of the nicest most patient people I know. Congrats & Best Wishes!
