I love these TWO

Thomas and Patrick are two of my favorite little guys (my nephews). I got to watch them for 6 weeks last year and I really grew to love them so much. I love Thomas's spiky wild hair, and Patrick's intense blue eyes with his snuffies (lovely long eyelashes). I can't wait to take more pictures of them...

I love taking pictures of newborns... they are so yummy and sweet. I've had some questions asked on how I "go about the session." I like to photograph a newborn in their home, because I just think it is easier to work around their schedule and comfort zone. I always try to photograph within the 1st TWO weeks after birth, because they change so much and after that they do not like to be folded like a pancake. I prefer window light but I do take a strobe just in case. I am always open to new ideas but I think keeping it simple is always best. I love this little one's sweet chubby cheeks, I just want to kiss them!

Here is a little session from a while back that I just realized I never posted (sorry Nancy!). These are some very fun kids. The twins are pretty shy but when they feel comfortable enough they are just sweet. The oldest is working on becoming a photographer, and the youngest is a very polite little man! It was good to get to know your family better. I should come take pictures of your portraits on your walls, they look great!
