The Grigg's Family

This shoot was one of the coldest day yet this year. These kids were troopers. My personal favorite is the sweet little girl with crystal clear (watery from the cold) eyes. 

Another George Family

What a great shoot. I had the opportunity to photograph another cute GEORGE family. Five kids...WOW that is one busy Mom. Doesn't she look great. Those boys are going to be protective of their one sister. When I started photographing some of the couple shots and I asked them to kiss, you could feel the passion between these two love birds!

You know the saying about being ugly enough to break a camera. Well it is true...I am ugly enough to break one (hopefully just one)! During this shoot I stepped away from the tripod and down it went...tripod, my brand new camera, and my favorite Nikon 18-70MM lens all bruised and damaged a bit. A few tears were shed but all things can be repaired for a price & I am lucky to have a great backup plan!

Photographing this family was a blast. I had my trusty new assistant Lyndee (who is totally AWESOME), my new camera, and some new techniques to try. I think this shoot went very well. The Homer's are an amazing family. I am sure many of you who are checking this blog know of the trials they face. Very humble, very good people that share their talents with anyone.
